First you cut a heart out of red construction paper - with an unexplained notch. Then cut a little heart in the heart-shaped doily. Affix doily at a slant - to leave room for your name and for your mom to write the date (1969). Use lots of glue! Carefully tear a seal from the little book. Lick it and put it in the inner hole. Write something with glue and glitter over it that, sadly, will not be legible in the decades to come. Proudly present to recipient (Mama) and be surprised and pleased to find it in their belongings when they pass away 52 years later.
