This card is for Mark who lost his wife recently. I dug out my two step stamp set (a free gift from Scrapbook.com) and made this card. I should have practiced more because the more I stamped the better the flower came out. (Thank you Jacqueline for your beautiful card - it reminded me that I do have two step stamps). I did a shot at nuvo crystal dots - apparently I need more practice on those too ! LOL

Very pretty featuring her favorite flower. I think you did well on the 2 step stamping although I know what you mean it does take some practice. I'm sure he'll appreciate this.

I, too, struggle with multi-step stamping. You have acheived a beautiful blend of highlights and shadows for a natural look on both the flowers & leaves. Well done.

You created such beautiful roses and it will be a wonderful reminder to Mark just how much Karen loved roses.

The roses look pretty good to me. But now you've been practicing, you should make a couple more rose cards! I think the most important thing is just to take time and work slowly - and even then I think sometimes it feels as if there can be an element of sheer luck. I like the balance between the three blooms and three trios of dots.
