I started a Travel the World card series in 2019, committing to virtually visit a different randomly-selected country each week (for 50 weeks), gathering tidbits of information about the country. I love to travel and this is one way I can "visit" countries that I might otherwise never see. As I learn about each country, I choose something about that country as inspiration for a card.
This is the fourth (and final) year of this series. By the end of 2022 I will have virtually visited all 195 countries in the world.
This card is inspired by Cote d'Ivoire, the country that produces more than one-third of the world's cocoa. Interestingly, chocolate isn't typically eaten there; it is a commodity to be sold.
