I needed to make some junk journal embellishments for a swap, so when I saw the Mason Jar Ways to Use it, I got the idea to use my mason jar dies. Also, this is for Alpha Challenge for Y for yesterday for the Alpha Challenge. My grandma used to can everything in the mason jars. I can remember her sending me to the cellar to bring up a jar of peaches, when I was a little girl. I also years and years ago used to can in these jars. Fun memories. Have a great week-end!

These are adorable Sharon! I like homey feel with the doilies and the floral tops...the Love tags are cute, too. I have memories being sent to the basement to get some home canned goods, too.

These are so cute, Sharon. My parents had a room in the basement that was called "the fruit room" where they kept canned goods. It eventually became a junk room and would have been a fabulous darkroom. I like your kraft colored doilies to back the mason jars.

Great idea to make embellishments for your junk journal! My grandmother used to can alot and I remember all of the jars she had in her cool basement out on the farm!

Wonderful "yesterday" memories and cute junk journal embellishments! At first, I thought this was your letter "X" with the "x-s" made on the mason label...but works for both! Love the kraft-look with the blues!
