This card is for the monthly technique challenge. I had a hard time finding a white ink that would show up over the DOX that i sponged in the background. I could use some suggestions for a better white ink and then I would do this technique more often because it does make a lovely background panel.

It looks lovely. I'm not sure how prepared you are to get messy fingers, but I find white acrylic pretty good if I want a stronger effect than ink. I guess you could stipple it on (I think I have), but normally I use my finger tip, just as I do with the pigment ink, as I have more control. However, I believe it is meant to be a soft look ( it's meant to be light, after all), so I'm not sure that you actually need a more opaque white.

Your finished bokeh look fabulous! Love the foil graming and silhouette black inked flower. Pretty card!
Note: I use Stampin' Ups white craft ink (which is like a pigment ink) but it is old and I'm not sure if their present white craft ink is the same, though it does say it's a pigment ink. White Staz On might work too, but of course, it is not water-based, so a bit messier on the clean up of tools..

I love how it turned out! Gorgeousness! I also have problems with the white showing up. I use white craft ink. I tried the white acrylic as Sabrina suggested, but still had the same problem.

Beautiful! I love your muted background. The colors you used are wonderful too! The gold border is a wonderful accent as well! I use Hero Arts Unicorn white ink for my bokeh.
