Well - This was coming along pretty good until I tried to paint the door - I could NOT keep the lines straight no matter how hard I tried. That's when I decided this must be a centuries old shed door - perhaps somewhere in Tuscany. The wooden boards have obviously warped because no one ever painted or varnished it over the years - That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
The only other option was to start over and spend another 3 hours ditzing around with a paint brush when all I really want to do is sleep (side effect of my 2nd covid booster yesterday.) Guess I'll sleep. This is one of those lessons where I understand the theory but will probably not do another at least for a while. . . .

I love your draped shed and I like your story, too. The other thing I really like is that you are showing where your wisteria vine started. It's beautiful.

It looks like an old, abandoned door with the aged wisteria protecting it. Fantastic painting for this challenge. Impressed with your shadows and the flow of the leaves. Again, another beauty. TFS

This was a tough one! I turned into a third grader when I had to paint my door. She made it look so easy though. I think your old rustic door looks lovely. Who wants a new door anyway?
