I nearly gave this a miss because I thought this was too much of a challenge but I would love to see a red squirrel and therefore just had to give it a go. I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

Indeed, you should be pleased with how your squirrel looks. It is fabulous and he is plump as if he has eaten a lot of acorns over winter. I am glad you didn't miss this challenge.

This turned out great Janine! Your sky and grass are wonderful as well!
I did the ink stick thing, just because I had never used a scratch stick before. Rather like your painting without the ink though.
