A friend of mine sent me a picture of a graduation card and asked me if I could make it for her niece. I recognized that Beautiful You stamp, so I had to go to my DD sister, Heather (justampin) because I don't have that set. Heather stamped it off and got it right in the mail for me. Cardmaking friends are the best! I had fun turning this dancing gal into a graduate, but I also wanted to add a sports them because the graduate (in addition to being a dancer) plays basketball and softball. Her school colors are black and orange, so that fit perfectly with a basketball theme. So I went to today's inspiration site and searched "basketball". Can you believe that the only thing that came up was some basketball sized paper lanterns? Oh well. So I decided to make my card round. I die cut a big orange circle, drew on the basketball lines, and sponged the edges to make it look dimensional. So the card rocks. But as if that wasn't enough--I also put the square panel on an action wobble. There's all kinds of movement going on here. I hope my friend and her niece like it!
