I used today's sketch for the ABC16Y is for yesterday challenge. My first thought when thinking about the challenge was the song 'Yesterday,' so I computer generated the lyrics on some gold printer paper (it has flecks of metallic in it), bolding all the 'yesterdays' in a dark blue. I happen to have an old Beatles song stamp at the top and then I found the sentiment at the bottom, cut the three statements up to represent the three diamonds. Finally, I punched three hearts from a brayer off printer paper I did YESTERDAY while gel printing. How's that for yesterday???? The title of my card comes from a music series that existed at the music school I attended, where they presented extremely new music, like maybe composed the day before (tongue in cheek). It was pretty wild stuff, some of it very strange. There was also a group that presented medieval and renaissance music, which was more my speed.

Wonderful use of this song for the sketch. I never remember to computer generate sentiments when I need them as I usually go running to my son and ask him to do his calligraphy. I need to remember to use my computer once in a while when I need a special sentiment.
