This card is for the Alpha challenge Y = Yesterday
When I saw the challenge I thought about what had happened the day before. It had been ANZAC day here. I found the image of the flowers and the year 1915 in a vintage book I have and it seemed appropriate.
The card was very easy to make. After fussy cutting the image I die cut a tag. I love tags on cards.
Distressed vintage paper out of my stash. Added the tag and also a torn page out of a dictionary on the meaning of yesterday. Stickles added.
TFL. Happy day.

These pansies are gorgeous. I am trying to add more slimlines to my card making. Perfect images for this "yesterday" theme.

Oh, Jayney, I love tags on cards too and this is a winner, my friend. The dotted tulle ribbon is perfect. My Dad was born in 1915, although no longer living. LOVE this!

hi, i'm browsing your gallery and LOVE all your journal pages, too! This card is so gorgeous... anyone is fortunate to receive this. I love the vintage look and yet it's bright with the white and the polka dot ribbon, i tend to get too 'brown' in my vintage attempts. Thanks for the kind comments you left on my Halloween cards. really appreciate it and HAVE FUN TRAVELING! keep posting journal pages, they are outstanding : ) Teresa
