Peony against crackled background

Onto the dried crackle paste I brushed 3 different colors of pearlescent powders, applied the liquid iridescent medium with a brush to help the powders stick. Allowed to dry then dragged a couple of light distress inks over entire piece, softening with a paper towel. The iridescence is very prominent irl. Popped the peony up with double foam pads then added the gems.

Favourited. The combination of pearlescent with the crackle is really beautiful onscreen, and must be even more so in real life. The prism gems look fantastic on it.
