I needed to make a Mothers Day card and had something using a basic repeated shape like squares or circles when I saw this keyboard on the Pinterest board for the current inspiration challenge:
I liked the colors and realized that I had paper with similar colors still on my desk from the ice cream cone I made yesterday, so I went with that in designing my card. I punched a dozen scallop circles from the paper, alternating sides. I stamped the heart from Darling Dots 5 times on some pale yellow cardstock, and the sentiment one time, all in Pink Pirouette ink. Then I punched out with a circle punch and glued in the centers of the colored side flowers. I added the gems to the center of the darker side flowers, and attached all the flowers/scalloped circles to a white card base.
USEIT2022: I used up the rest of the DSP piece I started yesterday, which was exciting! Also the Darling Dots were part of a group of retired older SU sets I got on EBay, and it was the first time I used this set. on the other hand, I have had that Mothers Day sentiment stamp for a loooong time and have used it maybe once previously, years ago.
