Cards are going out to Tricia, requested by LeAnn (n2scrappin) from last week's teapotter challenge, hosted by Lisa. Challenge was to use a fave technique, but I am going to have to say stamping with Misti is mine on this card. I did not set out to do the black scallop strips, but I didn't measure correctly so on they went. I think my floral stamping looks a little Victorian for Ann's alpha "victorian" challenge too.

This is such a pretty card Shirl and yes the floral image does look Victorian. I love all the colours and strips you’ve used. It looks gorgeous. Happy day

I think the scalloped edge is great, it really goes well with the simple floral spray and gingham. A lucky accident. Tradesmen always say measure twice, cut once, LOL.

Shirl, I especially like your message of cheer for Tricia, and I like the die cut sentiment frame you used. The sweet little yellow ribbon matching the gingham paper is such a great touch. And the pink polka dot ribbon is so pretty! I agree that your lovely floral spray does look Victorian.

Well, you and your Misti created a very cheery card and, surprisingly, the black really makes it. I think it makes the other colors really pop. And scallops are ALWAYS cheery in my book. Love that blossom and it does look a bit Victorian. Wonderful card and sure to help cheer Tricia. Hugs.
