More details on my blog:
Layers of ink
My youngest wants to be a researcher studying water creatures, in particular the spectacular orca, which is his favorite animal. I made this scenic stamping piece for him. You can also easily turn it into a card instead.
This scene was done on white glossy paper, which works great together with dye inks. Start by stamping the three layers of the orca and then stamp her one more time on masking paper. Cut out and mask the image. Apply ink with a brayer starting with the lightest shade and gradually adding darker shades. Make the scene darker towards the deep waters.
Add rays first with a paint brush and water and then with a white gel pen. Stamp a sentiment and the additional images.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!
