This is for today's CAS-show the inside as well as the outside for your card and the TLC-yarn blocking, similar to wrapping rubber bands around an acrylic black and printing with them. A lot of fun it was!
I thought it looked great on dark paper so I used two metallic acrylic paints, bronze and gold. The thick twine left some cool little marks where the fuzzies stuck out. I'm trying to use some new to me products so I pulled out these funky Dyan Reavely flowers and thought 'why not?' Stamped them on a gel printed background, probably ai and acrylic paint and added some glitter. In searching through my paper drawers, I found some scraps of an old transparency from very long ago, cut out the 'why not?' (I think it's the JFK quote). Why not be funky????
The inside is more CAS than the outside, used another funky flowers/plant, some cut offs from the front panel and a fun sentiment. I hope I'm growing some brain cells. I'm reading a Bill Bryson book 'The Body: A Guide for Occupants.' Some very interesting things I'm learning about skin and micro-organisms and viruses. Given that it was written pre-2020, some very important info in there.
