Such wonderful & interesting hats for the Inspiration Challenge! I chose THIS as my inspiration for the hot colors & spiky feathers of the hat.
After die cutting the palms, seagulls, sand & flamingo, I also die cut some extras to layer for some dimension. The tropical paper was die cut once w/ the larger stitched rectangle, then I used a couple of sizes smaller to cut out the inside. The white layers were added then all the white tropical die cuts added on top.

Oh my goodness, Julie, this is stunning. i love the colors you've used in your vibrant gleaming background and the white die cuts look so clean and elegant. I'm going to Hawaii in a couple of weeks and this makes me even more excited for those gorgeous sunsets.
