I have been working for hours on two putzy cards, but I'm happy with the results. This was putzy because I don't think ahead enough to use double sided sticky paper on all diecuts.
This is for this week's colors, the teaparty for Tricia and today's sketch, very loosely. I smooshed and painted the gorgeous grape and pacific point, very watered down for the background and then much stronger for the flowers. I wanted some dimension to the flowers so I just glued down the inside edges. Used gel pens for the centers and some Liquid Pearls for a white accent. The green leaves were cut from some white cs that I sponged the pear pizzaz on. By then I was smart enough to add some sticky paper to the back. I do have six elements on the card for the sketch.

Those blue flowers have so much depth of color. I love the way they look against your gorgeous bg as well as the combo of open and solid images. I know what you mean about "forgetting the double sided tape". I usually think of that afterwards too. LOL. Beautiful card. I'm sure as a card maker, Tricia will appreciate all the "putzing" that went into creating this beauty.
