This weekâs challenge cards are also a bit of a limited supply challenge because I packed up a travel kit to go visit my mom. I did see Mondayâs CAS challenge topic (Titanic anniversary/ships/etc) and tossed in a very old sheet of rub-ons I found while packing up that happened to have an ocean liner image. I could only hope they would still work!
I applied the rub-on to some light blue paper (yay it did work!) and then die cut it with a rectangle die and attached to a larger scrap of navy blue paper. I attached the black and brown striped paper (K&Co) to a kraft card and attached the ship image with foam tape. I stamped the greeting on a scrap of light tan paper (all these scraps were the solid color backsides of the Authentique papers Iâm using in other cards today), cut it out and cut the end into a banner before attaching to the card front. I finished by adding an anchor rub-on directly to the background paper.
There are lots of veterans among the seniors I send cards to, so I will save this one for a Navy vet.
I am submitting this for todays Free 4 All challenge also, as the theme is vintage, and the rub-ones have to be at least 15 years old themselves!
USEIT2022- paper scraps! Plus cracked open an elderly package of rubons that had never been used!

Your ocean liner image was super for the Titanic challenge and I like all your rub-ons. I am sure I must have some rub-ons from days gone by. Wonderful card for so many challenges.
