I blush to say how long I have had this dictionary vellum ... but it's finally seen a card today! Die cut 2 frames of different sizes and secured the vellum behind. Die cut the word 4 times. Die cut the flower adding a small pearl- and more pearls just because they match the vellum very well !!!

That vellum is so pretty, I understand you've kept it so long, that's sometimes one of my problems, things I like so much that I don't use them, but this card is a real beauty Sandie!!

I was surprised that this was vellum! I have some somewhere in my craft room. I should find it! Thanks for the nudge. Your card is beautiful with the white, and I love the depth of the word.

It's vellum - it must look even more lovely then in real life with that softness that is hard to capture. Your base perfectly picks up on the aged look of it. I have an old French dictionary (actually the butterflies on my card today) which is so old it's just that foxed look and colour of your vellum. (Just checked, 1949, so possibly it was my mother's as a child). So elegant with the pearls and crisp white flower.
