Got to love a text background like that - and that one looks handwritten. Fantastic colouring with the shadow. Hollyhocks always remind me of Greece because we see them growing wild there.

I'm loving these beautiful hollyhocks Sallie!! How you manage to bring your watercolor creations to life is beyond me. So beautiful! Soon the hollyhocks will be blooming in my area. Many of the old houses along the main route through town have hollyhocks in their yards, it is a beautiful sight!
