There is a new Color Throwdown challenge happening. Lynn is hosting and has chosen pink, sage green, lavender and blue. Great spring colors and perfect to use the tulip dies from Papertrey Ink! For the background, I started by color blending distress inks onto Bristol Smooth Surface paper (Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar, Bundled Sage, Broken China). Then I layered the white decorative circles cover plate over the blended colors. Tulips and leaves were all die cut from Bristol Smooth paper then colored with above distress inks and highlighted with Kitsch Flamingo, Dusty Concord, Rustic Wilderness distress inks and Lemon Tart dye ink. The stamen was colored with Honey Nut dye ink. The sentiment tag was stamped with Blueberry Sky.
STAMPS: Just Sentiments: Thinking of You (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar, Bundled Sage, Broken China,Kitsch Flamingo, Dusty Concord, Rustic Wilderness distress inks by Ranger; Lemon Tart, Honey Nut, Blueberry Sky inks by PTI.
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface (Strathmore), White (PTI).
DIES: Cover Plate: Decorative Circles, Into the Blooms: Tulips, Charming Tag dies (Papertrey Ink).

Oh my goodness, this is beautiful! Those tulips are so life like and gorgeously colored. I love your blended background under that pretty coverplate. Wonderful spring creation!
