This week Linda has shared with us this tutorial that explores a limited palette of colors and using different values of those colors to have depth with an abstract "cotton ball" tree. I did not do the pen dotted version although it was more interesting to me on the tutorial video. I did find that the shell pink I have is a little on the Gouache side, its not so translucent as the paints I have from Daniel Smith. I do have a couple of extra shots of the process here on the blog. You can find this challenge here to play along with us. Thanks for this challenge Linda & tfl.

Beautiful with all your sizes of the cotton balls. You framed this beautifully. Like how you mentioned the opacity of different paints. This would make a lovely picture to display. TFS
Wow! This is gorgeous! It makes me think of the high-end paintings in a gallery! I am wishing I had used a little more of the rose color in my painting. I really like the way you added the small dots in all of the colors you used.

I love your shades of pink and grey - so spring like to me! I tried one in those colors but ruined it with the "edge softening" thingy - This one heads right to my fav's for inspiration on the way I think this project should look!!
