Jeanne is our hostess for this week's color challenge CC891. She's selected an array of beautiful colors, Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose, and So Saffron with the dessert option of using Just Jade.
The background of my design was created by blending water and ink refills of each of the challenge colors. I was slightly disappointed when the Pretty Peacock blended with the Just Jade it tended to bring more of a Misty Moonlight hue. However, I thought overall you can still see all the colors of the challenge. The watercolored background was embossed with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder (so sad to see this one retire). The sentiment 'Sending' and its matte was layered five times, to provide some dimension. The small flowers were embellished with rhinestones to add a bit of a shine.
Please join myself and the design team this week by adding your beauty of creativity to the gallery. We would love to see it! Thank you for taking a look!

Absolutely gorgeous - your watercolor sets things off beautifully! Maybe some of us need to call this ode to Tasteful Textile? I can't wait to get my hands on that bundle. I had to "slow down" my order so it wouldn't beat me home and now it will be Friday at the earliest. It's great to see such lovely work with it while I wait.

LeAnn your watercolor background is beautiful! No matter that the colors combined - that is what they are SUPPOSED to do! It really is a lovely backdrop for your silhouetted flowers.

Wow, the background is outstanding! What a creative and unique way to display the challenge colors. Love the slimline design with the stacked die-cut words. Fabulous texture. Wonderfully done, LeAnn.

I love the dreamy, sunshiny background you created. I think it's great fun to let the colors do their own thing. This one turned out so great! I love the white flowers and the multi-layered greeting, too!
