I learnt from my mistake the first time I tried this (changed from a square base to a rectangular, and my tie-back was too high up). This time I decided in advance that it was going to be a 7" x5" card. I used some old scrapbook paper for the curtains, and blue paper for the base, which I scored into a large brick pattern with the ScorPal. I printed, coloured and fussy-cut the GSD digi. Added a valance, using scalloped scissors to cut the edge. Grosgrain ribbon with a knot in it for the tie-backs, and then to fill the extra space below the shelf, I added a Hello cut with an SU word die.

Adorable little window scene! Wonderful job with all that fussy cutting. Looks like a fun technique - hopefully I can give it a go when we get home from watching the grandkids.

Those papers are so pretty...are they mismatched? They look sort of the same but I see many different patterns. If so, I love it, much more interesting than matchy matchy. That is a beautiful blue.
