Along with thank you cards, my friend commissioned a âway gayâ birthday card for his âway gayâ friend who is turning 40.
I was a little stumped because I donât have any particularly LGBT themed stamps but then I remembered this obviously fabulous chicks from the SU Hey Chick set and decided she would be perfect. I stamped the chicken three times on white cardstock and gave her rainbow feathers, then die cut each one with a rectangle die and mounted on slightly larger rectangles of red paper using foam tape. I covered a white card base with rainbow paper from a Dollar Tree paper pad and glued the three rectangles down. I computer generated the sentiment, cut it out and attached it, and finished with some sparkly dot stickers in rainbow colors, also from Dollar Tree. Iâm super pleased with how this turned out and my friend loves it too.
USEIT2022: I just had to have the Hey Chick set when it came out but I have not used it nearly enough! Also using up those Dollar Tree papers (sadly I havenât seen patterned papers in the stores recently) and those sparkly stickers.
