Oh look, Sharon! Kitty is bringing you your running shoes. (Or, is she wearing them??) lol.
Our Teapot Tuesday recipient this week is Sharon, who is recovering from surgery and could use some humor. Sheâs a marathon runner and loves cats!
Since our challenge was to use dots or stripes I opted for dots. I stamped the cat image, masked her and stenciled the dots over with blender brushes. Then I stamped and fussy cut the sneakers from a Whipper Snapper stamp, colored with SU markers and adhered.
I decided to stamp, color and fussy cut some extra flowers from kittyâs collar and popped them up with some dimensionals on the photo corner, which is also popped up for dimension.

The dotty stencilled background is beautiful. And adding the runners to your sweet cut was such a fun idea! With her decorative collar, she looks as if she had just won a medal after running her race.

You have the perfect card for Sharon. That kitten is so so fun and I love your addition of the running shoes. I agree with Sabrina that her fancy collar looks like she just won her own medal for a Marathon. And since she's a "striped" cat and you have that equally fun dotted bg, I would say you definitely aced this challenge. Awesomely fun and adorable card.

You couldn't have picked a more suited image for our guest of honor. How adorable is this fuzzy kitty?! Great design and perfect pairing with the polka-dot BG. Adorable!
