IC852 DIY Craft Land Here is what I saved to my IC Pinterest page. I made my card a mini-slimline. What I learned is DON'T try to fix things! I really messed up my sentiment so I will try later to fix it!!! I started by punching the bottom of the card for the chest of drawers look. Then I scored drawers lines & stamped. I did try to do the 2-step stamping but I didn't like how it looked so I did the layer again. I sponged around the edges before coloring with StampinBlends. I matched up the bottom of the panel to punch again. Then I added the sentimet & said done!
Great site Julie, thanks.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, WOW, I never thought of making the card the chest of drawers. What a cool technique. Makes a really cute card. And, yes, we chose the same image. Great minds

I have had good luck ( once everything is dry mind you) taking the tiniest black pen you have and making dots over the inked sentiment, to fill in white spaces and make them bolder) This is really cool with the score lines to make this painted furniture Karen WOW

I love how you shaped your card and the scoring was a clever way to make the lines for the drawers.
