Deer at Snowfall

I stamped the deer 1st with Ranger archival(waterproof) ink. Wet the wc paper then added various shades of blue and purple allowing to dry between layers. Once dry I painted in the moon with white gouache kind of as an after thought. Then I stamped the silhouette trees in Versifine black several times using my TH stamp platform. Added splatter and painted the edges of the panel w/more white gouache rather than using a white mat. I thought it looked more snowy. Added the ribbon and popped it up w/ fun foam.

Adding the moon was a great afterthought. The spatter looks super, too. I like your peaceful, tranquil scene.

A enchanting scene. I don't see splatters.....I see a myriad of fireflies on a moonlight summer's night. FANTASTIC work! Love everything about it.
