In fact I didn't use any of them, although I have always enjoyed the melted crayon background, and I actually bought some mulberry paper last year to try the mulberry batik background, which I had to use a coffee filter for the last time I tried it.
Instead I went back to an old MIX challenge of Dina's to do a homemade scratch paper: MIX176 - Scratch Art (6/10/2016) by dini at Splitcoaststampers
I covered a piece of card with coloured wax crayons, then added a thick layer of white acrylic and scraped a pattern into it. When dry, I cut into a square with a circle in the centre. I popped the square up on foam in a white card base, rotated the circle through 90° and put it back in. I added a butterfly from my desk which was hard to photograph, being gold mirror card and pink glitter paper, and a sentiment stamped in assorted colours.

I've never tried this technique,...interesting. I like the multi-colored saying to go with all the colors on the bg. And that gold butterfly is so cool, very pretty.

Love your card, Sabrina. I don't venture into MIX territory very often, so this was a new technique to me. I like the pattern you made with the squares and squiggles and how you turned the pattern in the central circle.
