On this card I laid down my Washi tape then stamped the tiger in black and watercolored him. The I painted in the sky & ground base around him. Once dry, I removed the tape and used the side of an old credit card to flick in the linear details on the birch trees. Finished with the grasses painted with a #4 Long Round brush and spattered some stars in the sky with white acrylic paint (spattering is NOT my strong suit - lol

Terrific statement with the beautiful cat behind those birches. You had to smile when finishing this beauty. It is only an A2 card size. Amazing scene for a small area. TFS

Amazing card you created. I love that tiger in behind the birch trees. And, the sky with the stars is so pretty. You sure made birch trees look real. Oh, and your ground work is perfection. You have made me want to make another card. I can't get enough of these.

Not sure tigers and birches thrive in the same environment(maybe at some zoo).....but I like your "artistic liberty" scene. You did a great job watercoloring the birches and the tiger, Linda.

Love how this came out, Linda. Including the tiger is an unexpected twist (lots of fun). The birch trunks look really good with amazing detail from that simple technique.
