For my star background I used an emboss folder and a white crayon to do a crayon resist. Once I added the crayon, I used a brayer to add the blue and the stars resisted the ink.
I then die cut the sentiment and anchor.

Gee I don't know that one...crayon resist on an EF...I like your card a lot!
