Melissa's challenge was to use alcohol inks, and it gave me the perfect excuse to try this. I got the idea from a Facebook page where someone used what she said was the aluminum covering the opening of a jar of coffee, I think. Whatever it was, I don't use jarred coffee, but then I noticed some of the teabags I have are individually wrapped in a foil-lined little envelope. Once I opened the packet and cut the crimped edges off, I had a nice little strip of foil to work with. (It's much stronger than your basic kitchen foil, I think) I embossed it, dropped some alcohol inks on it, then added some blender and moved the paper around to get some movement and blending. It was really fast and easy, and it looks pretty cool. Mounted it on purple and put a white die-cut floral on top. Then I had to find a sentiment that fit in the corner.

Great use of the tea bag envelope - I must watch for foil-lined ones! Beautiful blend of colours of alcohol inks. Wonderful use of the embossing folder with them.

Goodness, Sandy...I would have missed this if not for the CAS Favorites thread. This is such a wonderful card. Your experimentation has me wanting to give it a go!!! Perfect lil' sentiment for that bold bg.
