Lots going on here! The starting point for this whole thing is the face in the middle of the sun.
A few weeks ago, I was cleaning out a storage trunk that held some stamping stuff. Hadn't looked in it for a very long time and certainly hadn't purged it. I found some clay and a mold and decided to give it a whirl. It worked great; I painted the face with bronze acrylic paint. I only have the face mold, probably should look for other molds or ways to use the clay.
Today's MIX is 'mending', as in kintsugi perhaps. Excellent choice for today, as our world is in pieces. What a sad time! Seems like we've been sad for a long time. The ABC16S is sunshine, so I thought I could combine them to get a little sunshine in our lives. This is what inspired me for the MIX: https://www.instagram.com/p/CbAR7xYuIZ1/
Really interesting art!!!!!!!
Because of yesterday's WT, I knew I wanted to Zentangle something. I have a few black, pre-stringed Zentangle circles and decided to use one, along with some metallic pens. 'Pre-stringed' means the basic outline is printed on the circle. I thought this one could be a star or a sun. I picked out an alcohol ink/acrylic paint background from stash and used a sentiment from the CS kintsugi set. The blobs of gold echo kintsugi, a Japanese method of repairing pottery with gold.

The face is amazing - and looks great on the metallic on black sun tangle. Your Liquid Pearls make a fantastic kintsugi effect, especially on that sentiment.

Wow! Love the metallic face popping out from the tangle, also the beautiful marbled background and the gold strips. Your Zentangling is fabulous! Love the clay face!

Oh how this makes my heart sing! Such a beautiful piece, embracing the need for structured protection and solid repair. The sunflower is a prominent component of Ukraine, and the face on that excellent tangled piece embodied that well.
