This week the Teapotters are sending beachy vibes to Brian, who is battling colon cancer and who loves to comb the beaches of Block Island. Block Island is known for finding glass floats which they then post on the project page. See Jen's description for this challenge for more info: MMTPT713 - March 22, 2022 - Glass Float Project by Jennifrann at Splitcoaststampers

I started by making two AI panels with blues. On my first attempt, I tried to contain the ink in an oval to symbolize a float but you can guess how that went..LOL. So, instead, I dry embossed the oval die and then placed the die cuts, which were cut from that first attempt panel, and the whale inside and around the circle edge. I hope this looks something like a fancy float. The sentiment is computer generated using Bartleen Script font from the Hungryjpeg.com.

I hope all these beautiful beachy cards remind Brian of his happiest times and that they will encourage and support him through his treatments. I hope you also are reminded of some of your happiest times today. A smile is always good medicine. TFL

The monochromatic take on this is super, I love the look of your blue corals and sea flora. And the look of the AI background is perfect for a sea theme. A happy looking whale, too!

I was having a lovely time this morning walking through a park within the park and enjoying the birds and Spring flowers and growth - till I saw a message from my line manager asking me if I could get in earlier . But I did enjoy seeing all the birds, and seeing the two swans on the pond I was remembering watching them on their nest through last summer, and being lucky enough to see them with their cygnets just a few days after hatching. Then they disappeared altogether, I never saw them again!

Gorgeous! I love the blue tones. The technique used to make this design came out beautifully. The whale is colored perfectly. Love the die-cuts and the embossed BG is awesome.

Ah, my friend, you already know what a warped mind I have - so it shouldn't surprise you to hear that the first thing that popped into my mind on opening your card was Bobby Vinton's song "Blue on Blue"!! (that's a blast from the past. . .) I love how happy that whale looks and all the textural interest provided by the die cuts and embossing.
