 | | This week the Teapotters are sending beachy vibes to Brian, who is battling colon cancer and who loves to comb the beaches of Block Island. Block Island is known for finding glass floats which they then post on the project page. See Jen's description for this challenge for more info: MMTPT713 - March 22, 2022 - Glass Float Project by Jennifrann at Splitcoaststampers
I started by making two AI panels with blues. On my first attempt, I tried to contain the ink in an oval to symbolize a float but you can guess how that went..LOL. So, instead, I dry embossed the oval die and then placed the die cuts, which were cut from that first attempt panel, and the whale inside and around the circle edge. I hope this looks something like a fancy float. The sentiment is computer generated using Bartleen Script font from the Hungryjpeg.com.
I hope all these beautiful beachy cards remind Brian of his happiest times and that they will encourage and support him through his treatments. I hope you also are reminded of some of your happiest times today. A smile is always good medicine. TFL |
