This card is a Teapot Tuesday request for Brian. The challenge was something with Block Island crystal - beautiful web site, I never heard of it prior to this. But, I used Stampin Up Sailing Home stamp and die set, and an older technique for a lace-card base.

I agree with Sabrina, that interlaced edge looks fabulous with your nautical scene. Love all the images and that sentiment is the perfect pairing. I am sure Brian will enjoy sailing along in this lovely scene. Great card.

Goodness - I haven't done one of those braided lattice edges in probably 30 years and seeing your card makes me wonder why as it's a super way to enhance a card with a narrow paneled focal point. The baker's twine is a nice touch on a nautical card!

What a fabulous nautical scene you've created .... wonderful idea to add the special edging!
