This week for Watercolor Wednesday Stacy has chosen a wonderful tutorial on perspective for us to follow.
This is a technique I would like to practice more. This is my second of three tries. Even though I botched this in places it was far superior to attempt number one. Even though I improved on attempt number three, I ended up getting too much wrong.
On my first attempt, I used the Canson that I use for most projects. On my 2nd and 3rd attempts, I used 100% cotton and it was a dream to paint on! I wish I could afford to use it all the time. I REALLY should have used it for last week's scene.
We hope you will join us for the beauty of watercolor!

Beautifully painting showing perspective on your creation. Thanks for mentioning about the paper. I find when doing wet on wet, arches is my go to paper. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. Love your signature on your original painting. TFS

I think you did a good job on your pretty scene. You have the dark, crisp color to the foreground and you have the trees looking more and more distanced. I loved watching her make the trees. Sorry I missed your challenge last week.

This is so beautifully done. I tend to buy the paper at Micheals when they have it on sale and or at Amazon because, people give me gift cards to there. I love how rich the colors are Angie.

You did a super job of illustrating perspective in your painting - you even managed to keep some structure in your distant trees (I think mine faded out too much, so I'll say they are not only distant but lost in a fog-lol) Beautifully done on the deep, rich greens in the foreground too.
