This week we are taking a look at a video from Harriet de Winton on painting a scene with a sense of Perspective. I started with cutting a piece of watercolor in half and giving it a whirl ( the one on the left is the first one) and I did not have the water amount just right when I got to the add the trees/bushes stage. So, I removed them with water and tried it again. After to reinforce what the paper should look like in my head while it was still there I started a second one ( seen on the right) And after they were both dry I decided I did not have anything to lose by adding more to the first one that already had the goof in it. I do have a couple more shots on the blog here. You can find this challenge here to play along with us. tfl.

Thanks for giving us this video. She is an excellent teacher. Really like how you showed us the basic one and then how you added other elements. Wonderful cards. TFS

Wow! How cool to create two beautiful landscapes! I love the greens in shadow and light on the one on the left! The CAS one is gorgeous as well! Thanks for the fantastic tutorial!

I don't play golf BUT the painting on the left really makes me think of some of the fairway shots I've seen on TV of the professional courses. A truly amazing play of colors and shadings!
