For Jen's Teapot Tuesday challenge this week: MMTPT713 - March 22, 2022 - Glass Float Project by Jennifrann at Splitcoaststampers
If you look at the photos on the page she linked, there are some great ones. I loved all the ones where people were holding them up to the sunset, but I went with one where someone had nested their float in the sand.
Stamped the jar (SNSS), stamped the shell which is from a magazine freebie and the little fish is Pink Cat Studio). Sponged all the sand and sea. Reverse masked the jar and sponged again, to change the colours as seen through the glass. In fact I think I used some white ink to mut the sea, and I made the sand a bit darker. Coloured the shell and fish. Stamped the lid again on a scrap of something else and pieced it on at the end.
Stamped the grass and sand on the sand, sponged clouds in the sky, stamped the sentiment and added the border. Added Glossy Accents (old, and a bit thick at this stage) and when dry, added the jar lid. Added Liquid Pearls onto the grasses, and it's done.

You created a super little scene and I just love the tiny pearly seed pods on your grasses. Beautifully done on the jar with the "see thru" view, and that lid makes me think of the zinc lids we used on our dill pickle jars when we canned the summer bounty.

Great card, Sabrina! Your sand and water are beautiful and you've done a wonderful job of coloring the same throught the glass of the jar. Love your beach grass!

Lots of work went into this beauty! Great sponging to show the different hues inside the glass jar! I especially love the liquid pearls on the grass ... such a clever idea!

I love that you took the old "note in a bottle" concept and changed it up by filling it with seashells and a fish. What a fun idea. And it looks fab nestled in your patch of sand. Wonderful design and a great sentiment. Brian is sure to enjoy this.

this is too cute. I have a jar stamp and a globe stamp, and just recently starting putting 'objects' into them. great card. You matched the water and sand with perfection inside the jar.
