I chose a card made using strips from Colleen's gallery. It was a chance to use some of my older, but favorite DSP. I used a Simon Says Stamp swirls plate for the crumb cake layer, then attached the DSP strips and put it on the white card base. The sentiment was die cut and attached to the stitched rectangle strip, so that it would stand out a bit more. Kraft, red and white is one of my favorite color combinations for holiday cards. Here's Colleen's card.
Sue, this is such a great case of Colleen's card. I like the mix of designer paper strips and how you attached them a little offset. It's a sweet holiday card.

I love cards like this that make use of pretty leftover scraps. Great card.

Sue!!! Love those Basic Grey's 'Wassail' patterns. Great case and I especially like you left room to appreciate each strip. The bg also adds a nice dimension.
I am bad about hoarding my BG stock...must check on Wassail.

Sue this card is so cool! I'm gonna have to UNO-reverse-CASE it at some point because I love it so much, especially the kraft/red combination and the pierced background and the Christmas theme. And it's extra special because I'm a HUGE Basic Grey fan (tho I never had this particular set of patterns) and am still in mourning for their demise (and occasionally buying packs of their old papers on Ebay!). Thank you so much for participating in this challenge!
