I found these cute chipboard chicks at the Dollar Tree ($1.25) store and they immediately gave me a spring vibe. I colored them bright yellow with copics and glued them onto this sunny background. As I decorated the flowers with crystal drops, gelli pen and glitter pens it occurred to me that this had morphed into a mixed media design. The chicks are a full 1/8" thick, so probably not great for mailing. But there were 25 in the package, so these might make some cute place card holders for the Easter dinner table--just glue 2 or 3 together for a sturdy stand-up decoration.

Super cute! Love the springtime look. Terrific bargain at the Dollar Tree store. How clever of you to color the wood ducks. Thanks for sharing that tip. Beautiful card.
