Love that golden bee. I've never looked up where the 'bee's knees' came from. The answer is no one is quite sure. I guess it was thought that the bee's knees carried the most pollen but there isn't any scientific reason to think that. It kind of goes along with other animal sentiments, like the 'cat's meow', the 'cat's whiskers' etc. Maybe you knew this, I didn't. I'm especially loving this technique on white, makes it stand out so well.

So Jean got me curious, and this is what I found this fun fact: "Bees are hairy creatures, and they get covered in pollen. They rake themselves clean with combs that are built into the inner surfaces of their hind legs. Next, they move all this collected pollen to a joint between the segments of their legs - their knees."
Sorry Jo Ann, just a bit sidetracked, but I do love your sentiment, and now it makes lots of sense! Love your bee theme for your lovely Pinwheel Quilt card! The tiny polka dot print is perfect as a background paper and repeated with your bee paper in the quilt print! LOVE that metallic bee centerpiece!
