Kia is our hostess and she has a wonderful site for this week's Inspiration Challenge. I was inspired by two pillows, one in blue and one in orange. I decided to do the faux linen technique. Sanded my glossy cardstock and then inked it up with Distressed Inks and Oxides. Splattered some watered down white paint and then smeared some Versa Mark across so I could create an embossed edge for my orange. Added my flowers die cut from black mirror cardstock and an embossed sentiment. Embellished with bling.

Your beautiful faux linen background is perfect for your glossy black flowers, Amy. So much beautiful texture and I love the colors. A gorgeous sympathy card.

A beautiful faux linen background created - so pretty in the colors you used. Your silhouette stems really pop off the color!
