My parents are deceased, the only people left to send Mother's Day/Father's Day cards to are my daughter and her husband, which I will certainly do. I still had to do the Q is for quilt challenge so I thought I'd do a card for my aunt, who quilts and is a Mom. She's getting used to the 'new normal' after my Uncle Don died and I know she'll love this. The bit of fabric is from a fat quarter. Back in the day, when my granddaughters were born, I did some creating with fabric, bumpers for the crib, burp cloths, that kind of thing. I really like Woodware stamps...simple, inexpensive, different.

Beautiful idea. I love quilts sewn with fabric or created with paper & ink. The added fabric is a nice touch. I'm sorry about your Uncle Don. The sentiment is touching. Your aunt will appreciate your card. It's lovely.
Jean, this is fabulous! The background stamp is really cool. Tons of possibilities. I love how you used several colors on the stamp. So fun to add that bit of fabric!

For someone who 'has an aversion to colouring' you certainly use colour with a deft hand! I love the quilted background. The variety of patterns is striking! Your aunt will appreciate the sentiment, especially in this pretty format!
