Hello, it's time for a new Watercolor Wednesday Challenge. Linda has chosen a loose feather tutorial for us to follow this week! I enjoyed the process but this is my third attempt. When I was loading the card to my blog, I realized that perhaps this does not look like a feather but more like a stalk of wheat. Aw, well, the process was fun!
We welcome all skill levels to the Watercolor Wednesday challenge and hope to see you there!

Love your beautiful feather and the colors. Glad you told me those were barbs as I didn't know.

Beautiful Angela, such a soft look. So happy to know I have company in looking up the parts of birds and what their function is. lol - CC and I have in depth conversations about this!

You made me laugh with your "Shaft of Wheat" analogy. It looks like a feather to me but it's nice to know the same technique might be used to make a wheat field for my brother the farmer. Beautiful spatters and watery base.
