This card is going out to John, who lost his wife recently. I chose Circle/Blue/Dimensional for my elements. This was my second card with this fold; it sure went a lot faster this time! I stamped the pickup and colored with watercolor pencils, then fussy cut, tracing around the edges with black Sharpie, which gives a nice solid outline and corrects any uneven cutting. I paper pieced the hearts in the plaid as well as his shirt, although it's so small, it's barely noticeable. Popped the pickup up on foam dots. Inside it says, "Loads of Love!"

Another fun card. Love the big plaid as the bg and your watercoloring looks super with it. Great color choices all around. I'm loving this layout on both cards. It is so versatile. I'm sure John will smile when he opens this. Great card.

There's everyone's favorite little pickup truck : ) This card is so well done; the colors in the plaid match the card stock so perfectly and I love the little inlaid plaid hearts.

Just so sweet! And well done on trying the fold again. I always reckon it takes a minimum of two, maybe three, to really get the hang of how a new fold works and how to decorate/use it. This is just perfect.
