I had been using the Simple Stories birthday paper pad the other day to make some cards and had a bunch of strips left over, so I started with these to make this sketch card. I trimmed them at various angles and glued to a piece of dark green cardstock, which I layered onto a kraft brown base card.
I cut the sentiment strip from another piece of the pad paper and trimmed to the size of the card front. I added scraps of red card stock above and below to set it off from the background, cutting the bottom edge with a border die. I attached the sentiment strip to the card front. I added a couple of sparkly dot stickers to finish.
