I nearly got watery paint on the rug and paint runs on the sofa but avoided both whilst painting this last night whilst child minding for our niece. Sienna slept soundly or she might have wanted to join in. I grabbed a few moments to frame and mount this tonight. I used a reference photo for the shape of the flower and then just went for it. I think it turned out OK and much better than I was thinking when I watched the video on Wednesday evening.

Gorgeous painting of the snowdrop and the background is amazing. Glad you mentioned your process and how you used a reference photo. It really helps to have an image to look at while painting. Another beauty in the gallery. Fav'd
