This is my sample for the Color Challenge. Jeanne selected beautiful colors with a dessert option of using any yellow. I was inspired to create with flowers and used yellow for dessert in the flower centers.
I stamped the floral arrangement in black. I only have ink for Purple Posy in a Stampin Write Marker, which I used to ink up the small flower stamp. The leaves were stamped with Mint Macaron. I colored in the Polished Pink flowers with Blends Markers. I used Blends marker for the Daffodil Delight flower centers. Then I die-cut the floral arrangement and framed it on Purple Posy DSP matted with black. The white panel was dry embossed and matted on the Polished Pink and then onto the Mint Macaron card base.
The ribbon was from my stash and is a perfect match for the Polished Pink; I only had enough to wrap the layer and tie a knot. Finished off with a few Faceted Dots and some Wink of Stella shimmer on the flowers & leaves. Also, I added three die-cut yellow butterflies.
I am looking forward to seeing what everyone creates with these beautiful colors. The gallery is going to be gorgeous! Have fun with it. TFL

Beautiful. I love that stamp set so much and it looks gorgeous in these colors. Your basketweave ef adds just the perfect touch of texture and interest and those sweet butterflies add another perfect touch of color. Fabulous card.

Perfect use of this week's colors, Diane! I noticed you and I both used up a piece of the neglected PP DS paper! Your flowers are beautiful. Isn't it a great feeling to actually use up a spool of ribbon?!?!

Beautiful! The EF in the BG is fabulous for your flowers that are color/shaded so beautifully. The layers, colors, and the wee butterflies, are perfect. The bow is just the right finish...

I love how you incorporated the yellow in with your flower centers and butterflies! The dash of yellow was a bit difficult for me but you've done a marvelous job with this beautiful design! Your embossed background creates a clean and fresh backdrop your focal point too! Love it Diane!
