I chose this card by Deb Mauch for inspiration. Deb, you have a wonderful gallery, and I have chosen several other cards to inspire! Deb had done a collage for the background and then a panel on top with the bird. I chose to use the mixed media paper and spray Oxide ink, then stamp a collage with these birds. She adds ties lots of times to her cards and I forget to do that, so did this time. I water colored with pencils and added some yellow with a pencil without water around the eyes, then added the rhinestones for their eyes. This is for the Mix-ability Challenge on Friday to use pencils- back to OG Toolbox.
Thanks for looking.

Wonderful! I love those blue birds perched all over that musical score. I agree with Lydia, it just evinces Spring and birdsong. Lovely coloring -- especially that touch of yellow around the eyes. Great card.

Gorgeous and as sweet as can be! Love this stamped image and your coloring/shading is so perfect. Soft colors are so pretty.

This is delightful, I should find the sheet music so I can learn the folk song. Glad that you added a bit of fiber, I do that (or seriously consider whether it can work) on most of mine because it makes me happy! .

I just purchased this fabulous stamp and have yet to ink it up. It's sitting waiting to be used and you've inspired me to do something with it. Love what you've done. Love the green oxide splatters.
