Loved going through Deb/dmauchâs fabulous gallery! I picked this card to CASE, and it is a pretty straightforward copy of Debâs layout, just changing up color scheme and occasion:
The large script greeting that begins with Wishing was the main inspiration for me, as the Happiest of Birthdays set was another recent acquisition. My other inspiration is wanting to use up a lot of the Simple Stories pad, which is a lot of bright and cheerful birthday papers that hasnât gotten much use despite being several years old. I have March birthday cards to make for my seniors, so I suspect you will be seeing a lot of this paper in my next several card batches!
So I started with a kraft card base, and cut a larger rectangle of the red dotted paper. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of vanilla cardstock and cut it closely around the edges of the image. I ran the edges over the red ink pad to make them pop a bit, and attached to the red dotted paper with foam tape. Next to that I added a strip of green striped washi tape and a strip cut from one of the other pages of the paper pad, then wrapped with red and white baker twine several times and tied a bow. Then I attached the red dotted layer to the card front with foam tape and added several jewel stickers to the front of the card.
This one goes in the birthday card stash and I will probably knock out a few more similar for this months birthdays!
USEIT2022: As I mentioned the stamp is a new purchase, as weâre the gem stickers. The paper pad, washi tape, and baker twine are all several years old.

I love that big sentiment and the font they used. It really deserves to be the star of a card. And you picked great papers to make it shine -- they remind me of confetti. This is one happy and festive card.
